Dr. Susan L. Blumberg, Ph.D.
is a licensed clinical psychologist, working in the Denver area for over 20 years. I work with individual adults, adolescents and children, as well as couples and families, to provide therapeutic support for a variety of issues.
I have co-authored 7 books about marriage and couple communication, including Fighting for Your Marriage ( Markman, Stanley & Blumberg, 2011), and 12 Hours to a Great Marriage (Markman, Stanley & Blumberg, 2006). In addition to marriage therapy, I offer psychoeducational workshops focusing on communication and problem-solving skills in small groups or with individual couples. I work with all types of relationships, up to and including marriage.
I also specialize in supporting families of children with a wide variety of special needs. I provide educational consultation, advocacy, and family support services, including parenting and behavioral issues. I am co-author of Parenting a Child with Sensory Processing Disorder: A guide for parents with a sensory sensitive child (Auer and Blumberg, 2006). I also offer free support groups for parents.
